November 24, 2011 – Three-year-olds Anabelle Irvine Topping and Cyrus Lessard , from the Playtime Preschool, get a close look at a spawned out male coho salmon, held by volunteer Dorothy Chambers, during a school visit to the fish counting fence on the Colquitz river by Tillicum Mall.

Don Denton is a fine art documentary photographer who lives on Vancouver Island in British Columbia. Denton is noted for his editorial and magazine photography, early images of Vancouver punk rock, Canadian writer portraits and images of the Pacific Northwest.
